An event spawned a "Confused Captain" card. The Dutch tried to take advantage of the Gentleman Pirate’s inexperience and were hoping to cause a series of collisions. (couldn't help but think of "Our Flag Means Death')

Apparently learning a thing or two from Teach, Stede not only passed the test, but he and his crew also landed 3 direct hits on Corvette 3 taking it out of the game.
