Round 10 saw a tie in the initiative cards. The decrease in the wind was the pirates undoing. Having already slowed down too many units to avoid collisions they were unable to bring their guns to bear. The Dutch Fluyt was also slowed too much to try to snag the newly appearing cargo before The Revenge brought it on board.

The Dutch still had 2 Fortune tokens use one on the scenario luck table – GREAT FORTUNE! Getting two more fortune they immediately burn them again. 1 resulting in rigging damage on the Corvette 1 and the other a new cargo bundle appearing at the stern of the Pirate’s Revenge. The Dutch again won initiative by Admiral.
